Cherry-Jelly Productions was founded by Risa Light. It was created to bring Japanese Pop Culture and otaku events to J-Pop lovers in the Los Angeles area (with hopes to expand in the future)! Our goal for the future is to spread the awareness of Japanese Pop Culture all over America by bringing amazing events where fans can get together and appreciate the culture as a community! ♥

Risa Light
Founder
Risa Light is a cosplayer who was born and raised in Japan. She came to America by herself with a passion for anime and music.
Since she loves anime and Japanese subculture so much, she decided to organize Japanese pop culture events on her own. Her adventures will never end!
Her work is always involved with spreading Japanese culture knowledge here in America and include working with Anime Expo, Japan Foundation, Japan Up! Magazine, Sanrio, etc.
Taka
Event Promoter
Taka is an aspiring cosplayer with over 5 years experience. She is also talented with her art! (You might have seen her illustration on display at convention artist alleys among other places!)
Just like Risa, Taka is interested in spreading the love of Japanese pop culture around the world!
